My sweetheart & I had a wonderful Valentines celebration on Fri, Feb 8th...my last work appt. was nearby Myra's work, so I met her there, we drove to a nearby restaurant (Mimi's) where we had a nice dinner (they were offering a Valentines special - ), we drove home, changed, & went to our stake center where the Stake leaders had set up a wonderful evening: dance instruction, dance show (by the BYU Ballroom Dance team) which was fantastic, then lastly dancing to a live band playing "big band sounds" --- the group that played featured our cousin Lisa Lund (Dengg) - the music was terrific & Lisa was great, as well! We didn't know that Lisa would be there - plus her parents came to see her (Blaine & Anita Lund) and we discovered them there (another nice surprise), had a sweet visit with them ... we danced for over an hour, it was great!! Made for a fun & full evening...
We both had a wonderful evening - it was really terrific!!
We are looking forward, more than usual, to having a little less winter weather - we have bigger snow piles that we have ever had - 5ft+!! At least the temps have moderated some & the snow storms have also lessened - we got 6+" with last nights overnite storm - much easier that the 18" + that came in January.

...and here's "chip" the chipmunk - named by the boys...Melissa got it to eat out of her hand!
WE had a great time at Mirror lake and saw lots of beautiful fall colors as we drove there & back!

We left SLC at 630am, drove 1 hr to Brigham City, were blessed to attend the open house for the new Temple there! It is beautiful! (& so is my sweetheart!)
This pic above is the back (west) side of the temple where we entered via the lower parking level - see pic below....
During our tour the light streamed in the front
of the temple through the beautiful windows!

Good news!! Your mom is finally feeling better!!
She's been on the roller coaster health ride for the last 3 weeks, up & down, sick then feeling better... she did visit the Dr on fri, got some more meds, rested by not going to work that day as well and Sat went to a RS sisters singing practice, had some fun with Rosanna bringing her kids over for a couple hours while she got a haircut - then your mom took it easy for the balance of Sat...
Today she felt good enough to not only go to church, but teach her Sunday School lesson, as well!!!
We took a walk this afternoon, our first in a while - more regularly now that she's doing much better..
Look out...more pics-(above...)
